Chattanooga, TN., Reunion

                                       Dave Felice

The 5th Comm Group Association annual military/family reunion will be held this year in Chattanooga, TN. We will be staying at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel. (Formerly a Holiday Inn). It is located at 1400 Market Street. Telephone Number is 1-800-875-2529.

The dates this year are 26 September/3 October. Our room rate is $99.00 plus tax, with a free hot breakfast every day. The hotel also furnishes free airport transportation. I have blocked off 70 rooms and you must make your reservations no later than September 4th. After that date the rooms will be released back to the hotel. Our hospitality room will be located in Penn Station, the daily breakfast will be in the Roosevelt Room, our business meeting and 1st raffle will be in the Roosevelt Room and our Friday night meal and 2nd raffle and our Saturday night banquet will be in the Imperial Ballroom. I am enclosing a map of the hotel to give you an idea where these places are. The facility is quite large and if anybody needs help getting around they have a golf cart available to take you around.

Due to the small amount of golfers we are getting, I have decided to no longer have a Golf Tourney. Instead, if some folks still want to play just let me know in advance and I will try to set up a little “fun” get together. It will be held on Tuesday 28th of September 2010.

Wednesday as usual will be registration day and our annual business meeting and first raffle.

On Thursday we will board the busses at 6:00 P.M. for our first tour to the Murder Mystery Dinner Show. I am giving y’all all day Thursday to tour other places (on your own) in Chattanooga.

On Friday we will board busses at 10:45 A.M. for the Southern Bell Riverboat lunch and cruise. The buffet and 2nd Raffle will be held at 5:30 P.M. in the Imperial Ballroom.

On Saturday we will have our usual photo sessions and banquet, and to those folks who will have to miss out this year due to various reasons, we want you to know that you will really be missed. We do hope and pray that you all will be able to make the next reunion.
