The 934th Signal Batallion was redisignated on 25 November 1951,as the 5th Communications Group.
An Historic Event at the 1999 reunion in Colorado Springs.
There was the presentation of the 934th/5th Comm Group Plaque to the United States Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs. The Plaque was placed on the 5th Air Force Stone Wall in the Academy cemetery in Honor of and in Memory of the men who served in this unit during the Korean War from 1950 through 1954 in the 934th Signal Battalion and the 5th Comm Group of the 5th Air Force, FEAF.
