The 934th Signal Batallion was redisignated on 25 November 1951, as the 5th Communications Group.

There will be a presentation of the 5th Comm Group/934th Sig. Bat. Plaque to the United States Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. The Plaque was placed in Honor of and in Memory of the men who served during the Korean War from 1950 through 1954 in the 934th Signal Battalion and the 5th Comm Group of the 5th Air Force, FEAF.
